Our next holiday event coming up is the Tombstone Vigilantes Days! August 9, 10 & 11. This is a time where we commemorate Tombstone’s unique heritage. The activities will include a 10K run, street reenactments and entertainment, hangings and a chili cook-off.
An upcoming FREE seminar: The Affordable Care Act. Where: Cochise College: 901 N. Colombo Avenue, Student Union Bldg.-COMMUNITY ROOM, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. This FREE event will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 8:30 am -12:00 pm in the Community Room in the Student Union Building on the Sierra Vista campus of Cochise College. The 12th annual Corvettes and Ghost Riders event is scheduled for October 3-6, 2013. so mark your calendars!
The Phoenix Beagle Club is hosting their annual dog show October 31 – November 2, 2013. They are putting together goodie bags for all the participants. They are hoping that some Tombstone merchants will donate coupons to put in the bags. The Chamber will be giving them rack cards. If you are interested in donating some coupons, we would gladly mail them for you. Just drop them off with me at the Chamber Office.
We received a wonderful positive comment about our Town! Folks came to us on a motorcycle visit from Burks Falls, ONT, Canada. They bragged about how awesome the people of Tombstone were and how wonderful their B&B experience was! They are spreading the word to all they know. Way t go Tombstone!
